Martin Larralde dies in losses. Baserritarra and bertsolari of Hazparne, born in 1782. When his mother died, Martin asked his father for his part of the household, but the relationship between the two was complicated. His father authorized landlord Jean Ospital to collect herbs, which was shot during his work. Larralde was arrested by the gendarmes, although he proclaimed his innocence. Martin died in the losses, rowing himself to death in a boat dependent on France.

His name is known in Basque culture thanks, among other things, to the theatre of Piarres Larzabal. Peio and Pantxoa made a song based on the verses of Bordaxuri and Ruper Ordorika performed the poem Martin Larralde by Joseba Sarrionandia.
