Nace Mañex Etxamendi in Ezterenzubi, bertsolari and writer bajonavarro. In the 1890s he was a pastor in the United States and in 1899 he returned to Euskal Herria to marry and form a family. He entered the council of his people and was later appointed a jury candidate. He didn't stand out publicly and dedicated himself to writing bertsos. They have been included in various publications and books.
