Maialen Lujanbio won the txapela of the Bertsolaris National Championship. It was the first time a woman won. In all the finals held since 1997, he won for the first time in 2009. Then he also won in 2017 and 2022. Born in Hernani in 1976, he started his career at the bertsos school of the ikastola at 15 years old in Hondarribia singing with Andoni Egaña, Anjel Mari Peñagarikano and Kristina Maderas, and has since travelled a wide route around the square.
