Bayonese Louis Mardochée Lévy was shot by the French army. When the Great War began in 1914, it was forcibly sent to war, recruited. After a year on the northern front of France, on the night of 28 December, he accused of leaving his position, made the war council and sentenced him to death. His father, in search of justice and with the intention of cleaning up his son's name, began in 1932 a legal procedure against the state, alleging that his son had mental problems before the war.
