Four Navarros were executed by the Castilian authorities in Pamplona. On the one hand, Miguel de Bertiz and his colleague Johan Periz de Azpilicueta, Navarros legitimists, attributing the organization of resistance to the Castilian people. They had a sueric trial and cruel execution. According to the ruling they were read in Zelda, the possessions were seized and dragged to Pamplona together with a donkey, where they would join the picotta and publicly cut their heads to “separate the soul from the flesh.” On the other hand, they also executed Johan de Corella and Tudelano Fernando de Lodosa, but for their humble origin, they were given a non-noble death: they were publicly hanged. The objective was to give experience to citizenship.
