Karl Marx dies in London at 64

Karl Marx died in London at the age of 64. Together with Friedrich Engels, he carried out a thorough analysis of the functioning of capitalist society and laid the foundations for communism. Solving that the engine of history was the class struggle, he called the working class to fight for a world without oppression. Marx and Engels said in the Communist Party Manifesto that “the workers of all countries join”. Although Marx did not know him, his thought spread throughout the world, causing the revolutions of one and the other in the next century.
