The Hondarribia Candido Saseta Etxeberria was killed by the Francoists in Asturias. He was a professional military and, when the war broke out in 1936, he placed the orders of the Basque Government and organized the Basque Army that would face the Franco army. He was killed in the town of Areces, when Euskal Herria fell into the hands of the Francoists and fought for the orders of the government of the Spanish Republic. His body was found in 2008 along with 80 other gudaris.
