Jochen Peiper, a Nazi war criminal, dies in France after burning his house

Jochen Peiper dies in France a Nazi war criminal. He was responsible for the Malmédy massacre in 1944. When in 1946 the SS were tried in Dachau, although sentenced to death, in 1956 he was released.

He then took over the management position of Porsche auto and moved to France to live anonymously. When their story expanded, they burned their house.

He reportedly escaped the fire, but when he saved a copy of the book signed by Hitler, Mein Kampf, the roof fell on him.
