Bilbaíno Jesús María Leizaola was arrested for carrying the poster “We want a Basque university”.

On the streets of Gernika he took him with some friends, met many people during the demonstration. The civil guards pressured the appearance, chopped the banner and took Leizaola and Ramirez Olano. They were taken to jail with labor. The next day, when they were walking and tied to Bilbao, they had to leave them free in Amorebieta on the orders of the governor of Bizkaia. The four Members sent telegrams condemning arrests.
