Nuclear accident in Fukushima

A nuclear accident took place in Fukushima. Caught by the tsunami caused by a large earthquake on the Japanese coast, the cooling systems of the four reactors at the Fukushima I nuclear power plant failed and three exploded. This is the biggest nuclear disaster following the Chernobyle accident (1986), which set the capital of Tokyo on the verge of evacuating and spreading heavy radioactive contamination as in air and ocean waters.
