Irun postpologists, all women, went on strike and occupied the workshop

Irun postpologists, all women, went on strike and occupied the workshop. They were in conflict with working conditions. The police surrounded the factory to avoid the solidarity and support of the other factories. When they were expelled the following day, the city’s workers’ movement called for a strike with solidarity and there were major incidents. Irun's post-pologist women's struggles were very famous in the 1920s and 1930s, many demanding equal pay for men and women.
