The Palestinian armed group Irail Beltza murdered eleven Israeli athletes who were kidnapped at the Munich Olympic Games. The King of Jordan, who was Black September, expelled the Palestinian refugees from the country in memory of the date of September 1970. The attack had a great impact and shocked the international community.
