England declared war on Spain. France and England were engaged in a war known as the Seven Year War, and despite the fact that the Spanish State maintained neutrality in this conflict for years, seeing that France was losing the war, and as this could fit into a bad state, Spain formed an alliance between the two Bourbon kingdoms and attacked the British ships.

The English mainly attacked the Spanish colonies and took Havana, among others.

The war lost France and Spain and ended the Paris Pact in February 1763. They intensified the slavery system.
