200 gypsum duendes appeared in the streets of Vitoria when the day dawned. The “visit” of half-meter colored beings had a great impact between the vitorians and the media. The Ertzaintza and the Municipal Police led dozens of police stations. The Duendes de los Bosque Assembly later explained that with its magic they were to defend the Gaztetxe de Vitoria in the Alavesa capital, in the face of the threat of eviction.
