A group of Basque parents founded the first post-war ikastola of 36 in a house in the Casco Viejo de Pamplona. He was on Pozoblanco Street and he was called Uxue ikastola. At its foundation it had to overcome several bureaucratic obstacles. Besides being one of the promoters of the Ikastola, Mikela Gastesi was the first professor of it.
