The Civil Guard murdered Rafael Gómez Jauregi in Errenteria, during the dissolution of a Week meeting by Amnesty. He was shot in a metralleta by the heart. The Armed Police staged the strike called for amnesty throughout the day. Gómez Jauregi was a 78-year-old Pasaitarra, ELA syndicalist and ANV militant.
