The Civil Guard murdered Spanish youth Luis Cobos, Juan Mañas and Luis Montero in the municipality of Roquetas de Mar, falsely considered members of ETA. They were arrested in a rented car. They were tortured to death and the evidence bodies were thrown into the car, thrown by a ravine and burned. Known as the Almería case.
