The Civil Guard murdered Mikel Martínez from Murgia Mikelon and Joxe Benito Mujika Xenki, ETA members in Lekeitio. The day before, the Franco police arrested two members of the ETA Cultural Front during the propaganda campaign in the town. After torturing all night, these two companions took the propaganda. 200 civilian guards surrounded the house of Portal 36 on Dendari Street and threw smoke grenades inside.
