Cegasa workers held a strike in Vitoria to denounce the massacre caused by the Spanish police the day before. The city lived in a dark atmosphere. The following day, among others, Andoni Txasko Díaz Zaramaga went with three friends to see how the surroundings looked. One day a Jeep approached and several cops beat him. He was beaten in one eye with vision and almost left blind.
