Strike of workers in the factories of Azkoitia. Faced with the rise in unemployment, the strike tended towards decent living conditions. The employers responded with strong repression by closing the workshops and sending the Civil Guard. At the door of the workshop, seven workers were injured by the police. The Brotherhood of the Makiñists published a brochure in Basque. “To the region of Azkoitia, especially to the workers: Even the street stone itself would cry if they understood what happened in the house of some workers. Crying is not a medicine. With the tear coming out of your eyes, do not arouse your happiness.”
