Gabriel Urralburu, former president of Navarra, was convicted of corruption cases. The Court of Navarra imposed a penalty of eleven years in prison, nine years in prison and a fine of 780 million pesetas for illegal commissions for public works. They decided that he was getting money in exchange for awarding eight construction companies, putting political corruption on the table. Urralburu was president of Navarra with the PSN between 1984 and 1991.
