Franco's assassination attempt failed in Barcelona. A few months earlier, an anarchist group prepared an attack on the occasion of the Barcelona International Fair. The plan was to attack the dictator with military costumes and priests. However, before the date of the attack, they arrested, tortured and informed the corridor they had in the Pyrenees, frustrating the plan.
