Francis was killed by a street dress police in Errenteria. The agent burst out screaming that he wanted to kill a Basque in a holiday hall, and stood before the transvestite Vicente Vadillo Santamaría Francis and took over him. This homophobic murder was a milestone for the LGTB movement in the Basque Country.
