The Ertzaintza arrested Ekaitz Samaniego in Vitoria. Accused of being a member of the chain, the Spanish National Court sentenced him to eight years in prison. Upon learning of the sentence, the young man decided to hide, and in the final act of the demonstration in his favor, he became public chaining him on a balcony of the English Court. It was the seed of the many popular walls that would come later, as after being hidden, it forced the police to carry out the arrest in the midst of a massive act.
