Official implementation of Working Women's Day in the Soviet Union

Working Women’s Day was officially established in the Soviet Union in honor of the women who fought in the February Revolution of 1917. Previously, at the International Conference of Working Women held in 1910, emphasis was placed on the need for an International Day of Working Women at the initiative of German Clara Zetkin. The celebration of the day began to spread first to the countries of Soviet influence and then to the whole world.
