Students from Deusto University boycotted the US Army music band. The students broke the concert with the cries of solidarity with Vietnam and forced the military to suspend their musical performance. Attendees also screamed “Yankees out.” As a result of the agreement signed by Franco with the USA in 1953, four U.S. bases were established in the Spanish state.
