They arrested CIA chief in Cuba when trying to put explosives in the Matahamb mines. Members of the Special Missions Group that it established to combat the Cuban Revolution were also arrested. The lives of 400 employees jeopardized acts of sabotage and the CIA abandoned the operation by finding hidden weapons by the Cuban Government leaving its men on the island. Sabotantes were sentenced to 17 years in prison.
