Police shot Protestants at price hike and killed six in Santiago Chile

There was the massacre of the Plaza de Bulnes in Santiago Chile. While thousands of people were protesting against price rises and reduced rights, the carabineros fired at the crowd. Six people were killed and dozens wounded. Among the dead was Ramona Parra Alarcón, a 19-year-old girl who became a symbol of the struggle for freedom in Chile. Later, they created with their name a brigade that painted subversive murals and Victor Jara himself offered him a song: BRP.
