The Churchill Government was found to have tested chemical weapons with 500 British Indian soldiers

The Guardian reported that the Churchill Government tested chemical weapons on 500 Indian soldiers serving the British. Throughout the 1930s, British scientists sent their soldiers from Rawalpindi base (today Pakistan) to gas chambers to analyze the influence of mustard gas on the South African surface and compare its influence on British soldiers. These soldiers suffered severe skin burns and many died with cancer.
