Hundreds of Auschwitz prisoners rose up to discover they were going to die. Led by four women, they had been smuggling gunpowder for months with local prisoners to destroy and rebel the gas chambers.

Or Gertner, Wajcblum Estusia, Regina Safirsztajn and Robot Roza were the leaders of the rebellion. All the women were captured, tortured and hanged before the other prisoners. They are said to have called for revenge before death.
