1,000 followers of the Andalusian trade union SAT occupied the Spanish military site ‘Las Turquilla’ for agriculture. They demanded that this 1,200 hectare land be handed over to labor cooperatives to generate jobs and wealth. They remained for eighteen days until they were evicted.
