The genocide of peoples of American origin begins. After the arrival of the first Spanish expeditions to America, on behalf of Christianity they began to tread their peoples and steal their riches. They established colonies on indigenous lands, eliminated hundreds of cultures and languages. Many Basques participated in this massacre.
