In the US, there was the uprising of slaves off the German coast of Louisiana. A group of slaves headed towards New Orleans burning sugar plantations and factories. They formed a team of about 500 people.

Soldiers and militias stepped up the rebellion, killed about 95 people and savagely punished others.
