Accused of abortion, a trial begins against a 16-year-old girl in France at the Bobigny children's court. Besides the young Marie-Claire Chevalier, they also tried her mother and the woman who helped her in the abortion. Chevalier became pregnant with rape and, after abortion, was reported by her rapist. Feminist lawyers and activists Gisèle Halimi were defended by the feminist movement which, in addition to achieving freedom for the courts, took advantage of the case to boost the fight for the right to abortion.
