400 people built a popular wall in Loiola, dressed up, to protect five young people that the police wanted to arrest. Irati Tobar, Jazint Ramirez, Xabier Arina, Imanol Salinas and Igarki Robles did not appear before the National Court, in a trial that this court initiated against 28 Basque youths. They reported that the only evidence against them was obtained through statements subjected to torture. The gigantic Ertzaintza operation took three hours to stop the five involved. The popular wall was strongly dismantled, leaving many wounded.
