Two weeks ago, the financing of the French radio stations was at issue, as the French Ministry of Culture intended to reduce subsidies to local associations by 35%. At that time, there were about 200 associations in the labour market, including Euskal Irratiak of Iparralde.
The explanation is reversal economics, if you prefer it can be called debt, bankruptcy, fraud, lie; that is, there is no money, above all there is no money for culture.
The problem of the Basque Radios had a solution, provisional – because that is how we have learned to live the Basques from then on – until the next.
In the Basque Country, a long time ago, we have the redundant case of the Public Agency of the Basque Country, the history of the credits for the Basque culture is like the latter, as well as the enrichment of various local initiatives.
In recent years, repeatedly, the state, sometimes the region, sometimes the departments, all of them with branches and extensions at state level, maintain budgets, delay projects and extend precariousness, and jeopardise the survival – not development – of language and culture.
France does not want to see anyone out of the line: for that it has the finance law, against separatism, ministers, prefects.
You might think it's just a matter of the Basques, or a few projects, but it's not. For example, in the last spring a number of cultural associations in Brittany suffered a reduction in aid in the region. Can the territory where cultural rights are enshrined in the laws be selective in relation to the cultural model to be supported? The prefect of the region also mentioned the economic reasons here, because it is said that if they were given to the associations, they could be taken from other areas and not… A few days ago, the newspaper La Montagne, which is broadcast in the centre of France, said: The musical and visionary group called Aquaserge was denied the promised subsidy, they say, was on the order of the prefect, for political reasons. According to La Montagne, the prefect found a connection between the group and a supposed question of ultra-leftist terrorism that the Interior Minister, Darmanin, wanted to undo the Treasures of the Earth movement, which was finally prevented by the Council of State. Aquaserg's fault is, therefore, to be of a militant plain, where migrants are defended, where forests and water are cared for. In July, health services in several French regions reduced aid to organise sex education activities in schools from day to day. Some of these actions are carried out by structures called Family Planning and belong to the educational field, at a time when sexism continues to develop among young people, in a society in which the culture of rape is still well established.
And so we can make a long list, of course, of cultural and educational limitation. Whether at state or regional level, where permits, competences and fortunes are distributed and deleted, sometimes without anyone giving them an explanation, using the excuse of an "insufficient budget" and, occasionally, without work to invent excuses.
We are what we do. What we do accuses us, whether it's the choice, the decision, the hands that stretch or the hidden in the back, the messages that spread or the messages that are silenced. France does not want to see anyone out of the line: for that it has the finance law, against separatism, ministers, prefects. And the money, under pressure.

Many times, after looking at the brumas from my house, it has occurred to me not to catch umbrellas, even though I know I will just soak up. Why will it be? Maybe you don't want to catch the umbrella? Maybe in the hope that I don't get wet? Nevertheless, the conclusion has always... [+]
I remember when I was 16 years old, the Ertzaintza first identified me in a concentration in favor of the Basque Country before the Bergara courts. We believed that in Euskal Herria it was legitimate to cry for the Euskaldunization of the courts, but then there would also be a... [+]
The disaster caused by the cold drop in Valencia has left us dramatic images, both because of the immediate consequences it has had, and because the future awaiting us has brought us forward: that this type of extreme climate phenomena will be increasingly numerous and serious... [+]
The update of the Navarra Energy Plan goes unnoticed. The Government of Navarre made this public and, at the end of the period for the submission of claims, no government official has explained to us what their proposals are to the citizens.

Since the disappearance of the Soviet Union, rusophobia has been growing. The concept of security of the UN Security Council of 2002 is very clear and indicates that the security and stability of the planet must depend on the states that do not intend to challenge the United... [+]
Andoni Urrestarazu Landazabal was born in the village of Araia on 16 July 1902 and died in Vitoria on 21 November 1993. It is now 31 years old and I think it is time to recognize his name and be, because the legacy he left is not well known. Umandi used the name of a mountain in... [+]
Autobiography writing is, they say, the most effective tool for personal development, the most liberating. Pulling things away from the past and remembering them, it seems that it helps unleash the knots of the present. Yes, it helps to understand the present and to draw a... [+]
I have done a review from the announcement of the pandemic to the tragedy in Valencia and have concluded that the disastrous institutional management that lies and forupe as firewalls is constant of the ruling class.
We do not have a valid substitute ruler as long as this... [+]
November 19 is World Bathing Day. Even today, in the twenty-first century, many workers here in the Basque Country do not have the right to use the toilet in their working days. Many transport workers are an example of this.
Toilets are the key to public health and play a... [+]
Self-esteem sometimes seems intimate. But if self-esteem is about the image that you have of yourself, about the value that you give yourself, you'll also have to see the decisions that you can make. What value does someone who can't decide have? So we start to look at our mother... [+]
The Sanmartines are well known in our homes, as it is time to kill the pig. However, many people will not know that before St. Martin's day marked the end of the agricultural year. And that was no nonsense. In fact, at the end of the year, I had to pay an annual rent to my... [+]
For a whole week we have talked about the book The Adventures of Pinocchio by Collodi, in the classroom of the university, with teachers of Early Childhood and Primary Education. Our main reference has been the nice edition that Galtzagorri published in 2011, which included the... [+]
“You learn walking and singing.” This has been one of the subjects this week in the groups of C2. It wasn't about learning to sing or walking, it was about using the future correctly. The activity has given me what to think and I've wondered how we learn to teach. I've heard... [+]
The survival of the Basque country is not the only problem that the Basques play in the political game, but rather, as a more characteristic element of Euskaldunisation, the one that most reflects our situation. It shows very well what does not appear so much in other areas... [+]
In Sociology of Education there is a classical question: Why does the education system exist in a society? The answers to the question are numerous and change according to the time. But among them, it should be noted that the main objective of the school is the creation of... [+]
