A game that never ends
When we were young, we had a thousand games to play on a day-to-day basis. Some of us played running, some of us played with the ball, the dolls, the rubber or the words. There's a game where we played with words, I've realized it's going to be for life. We don't realize that we're playing, but we're all playing, sometimes intentionally and sometimes involuntarily.
What game do I talk about? I don’t know how you called this game, but we called it “scacharrao phone.” In Euskera, the “broken phone”, the “broken phone” or the “phone game”.
And what is that game about? As many people as you like are in the line or in the court, and the initial person must say a phrase to his neighbour’s ear. This will move to the next one, and so along the line, or I run the phrase that the initial person has invented, until I reach the last person. The latter must say aloud what they have said to him and it is checked whether this is the same phrase as the first person has said.
to avoid many false versions, such as in childhood, it is good to compare the initial information with the final information.
We often laughed, because the phrase from the beginning had nothing to do with the phrase from the end. So we realized how information was lost or transformed along the way. When we were little, we didn't give importance to this game, which was a game, at the moment, and which often ended with laughter. In addition, we did no harm to anyone.
But today is something we do every day. Instead of saying the word or phrase, many times we are told passages, experiences. And we, believing that we have understood everything, when we pass that information to the next, along the way we lose many passages. Don't you think so?
How many times you've gone, "you've seen the fulana come into the hospital"; the next week, "you've found something to the urley and it's not good news," and when you asked the urlie how it is, he looked at you in astonishment. Because he's only gone to do some simple tests at the hospital.
And I'm not just talking about birch. When you yourself tell your experiences many times, how many times have you heard the renewed version of what we have said? Unlike when I was young, it can now do harm. Because what is said many times does not have the slightest appearance of truth.
Therefore, to avoid many false versions, such as in childhood, it is appropriate to compare the initial information with the final one.
