February 17, 1940 by the son who recovered the hotel has this beginning: “The sanctioned Victoriano Urdiroz Larequi, with a Republican background and left-wing ideology, does not prove to be affiliated with any party and movement that agrees with his ideas. A few days after the uprising of the National Movement, he left the National Territory with a son of 36 and 27 years old, without justifying the reasons for his stay abroad.”

The hotel owner of Auritz/Burguete, Victoriano Urdiroz, was sentenced to pay a fine of 15,000 pesetas and was able to recover the activity and work. Currently, Hostal Burguete is located in Auritz, dedicated to tourism. One more hostel in the village. And the owners are the relatives of the late Victoriano Urdiroz, the Basques.
