I have been reminded of that in recent weeks, especially as many of our compatriots voted in favour of the extreme right, both in the European elections and in those of the French Parliament. Those that I consider abnormal are those of the National Rassemblem (Unión Nacional, RN), who present themselves with haste, useless as vultures, useless as embusteros. Jordan Bardella, for his part, has not shown himself to be "slanderous" in Brussels, as a Member of the European Parliament. The candidate from the field Ene Boz has not concealed that in the direct debate organized by the five free radios of the territory, on 3 July, he does not know the important laws of recent years, for example, the one regulating the taxation of the second homes that we so much needed in this North. But what are they doing? Indeed, the cold wind blows. Simple, superficial and inconsistent ideas, flowing all the time through hypocrisy. The most fearsome thing is that their voters believe that those who are healthy in their heads are themselves and not the others, who do not deny the complexity of life and the need for complex thinking.
Those that I consider abnormal are those of this NB who present themselves pressurized, disheartened liars, laborious, useless as stupid.
About 50 years ago, the philosopher Edgar Morin theorized the concept of complex thought in the giant work La méthode. It has shown that the world is complete in many systems, even interacting with all fields of knowledge, you cannot reach the simple knowledge system to understand life and the human being. Also in this era came the concept of polysystem by Itamar Even-Zohar. Without reaching so much abstraction, each can experience, in his life, a nature that is a multiple zoin, complex and contradictory zoines, human relations. Nature and society are limitless seas, sources of a thousand invasive questions.
Why, because of this obvious constancy, do some countrymen show their confidence in these puppets? Because they're angry and bored with socioeconomic decline? Or because you don't want to think about it? In social cognition, the summaries and cognitive simplifications that avoid complexity are called heuristic judgments. Does the spirit reassure you of receiving simplifying and cleansing lies to the followers of the extreme right? Do you give them joy? I don't see them happy, to start with. I regard them as desperate, abominable and selfish beings, who sweeten and constrain their desires for life at will, unless hatred spreads.
Those who work to give meaning to the world and to society are happier, because despite the difficulties, ideals, they accept that only by complexity can things be understood and appreciated.
Precisely, in a completely intentional way, the Weekly Le 1 of 26 June has attracted some of the verses that the poet Robert Desnos wrote in 1936, when the popular front stood up against fascism: “I sing what we are not going to fight tonight / But what we have to defend. / Pleasures of life.”
