Remote control animals

Livestock workers seek a balance between the optimal quality of life of animals and the economic viability of production. Human beings have placed many physical limitations on the world to protect what is “our”, to protect our animals from external threats: foxes, wolves and other predators, and in search of the influence our animals’ bodies have on our quality of life, we have made the landscape a mosaic of human fears.

Animal care technologies have become sophisticated and today we have begun to transform the surface image of the world, which was protected by physical measures, can now be protected by data. With an electronic animal hill on the neck, they send the shepherd information of the place where they are located by GPS, which can also be a machine, and control the animals through small electric discharges depending on the grass area that is defined. Thus, animals can be controlled automatically anywhere and not put their lives at risk. The patchwork of fear will no longer be visible, it will be kept on computers. It seems that this practice can bring some additional benefits, such as the release of animals in the forest and the reduction of the risks of weed and fire. Predators can also have their lives protected, as when they're going to attack an “owner” animal with their cencerro, they'll get a flush, which would remove the cause of humans killing their predators.

What is clear, and with our way of managing animals, we can easily see that fear is one of those responsible for the global model in which we live human beings, and that those fears have been destroyed by technologies that have made it easier for us to oppress and control. It is striking that applied technology on nature and animals often uses it to address the fear caused by beings of the same species.
