We have seen the peasants with power tractors, roads, bridges, blocking borders, and the heart made us “krak!” in solidarity, because we are also peasants children and brothers, because they are still striving to bring the farms ahead. We've heard protesters criticizing the normal ones, claiming the use of bioxides -- they want to open bar and they don't care if they harm the environment and people's health. I am, of course, referring to the ‘farmers’ of the French FNSEA, because the others have been looking at the slopes of that movement – and, if not, we would have lost all hope.

They blackmail hunger if we let them disappear. They think they feed us, but most of what these “farmers” produce is exported outside European barriers, cereals, milk, chickens... and allows us to grow smaller, organic or sustainable crops that they have.

At one point they are right: these “bobo-ekolos” citizens need to know whom to buy. I think many of us have already chosen ...
