It all started in Azala (space for artistic stays), when they organized Futuribles. It brought together representatives of different initiatives with alternatives to make life more livable: Errekaleor, Environmental lighting, Karabeleko... Some writers were then invited to form sketches for future changes. So from 2018 to 2022, they took alternate paths and created speculative fables.
The texts and audios (more information about the project) borradoresdelfuturo.net were collected on the website. However, for the Durango Fair of 2023, the editorial Consonni published in book format. In addition to the ten narratives of the book, on the website you can read the eleventh, fable of the laboratory Badalab of Nerea Arrien.
The Spanish Association of Editors has recently published that 29.7% of readers read on digital media and 6.9% listen to audio books (mainly from 14 to 45 years). I have started listening to stories with this book and it has been a curious experience. The writer told me his story orally and then I read it in writing. I propose to try it out.

At Sarriugarte we can read at the beginning “What worries you so much?” It is a very basic starting point in science fiction or speculative literature, which is clear in this collection, for example in the mention of Zaldua: “Social machinery is something relatively new, seen from the watchtower of history, and we have a long way to go.”
In Gopeguira and Damian there is talk about the change of life and the migratory impulse: “I didn’t come here for peace of mind. I came because life in which peace of mind is a privilege hurts me, it hurts us” and “a pleasure to seek new destinations of free life.”
