The eight quotes this year
- The fairs and initiatives that take books and records in Basque to the street are eight throughout the Basque Country. Little and little, perhaps. But especially, the majority that have emerged for six years and networked since last year. The date of each of the 2024 markets and initiatives is jointly presented.
Anyone who has the pleasure of reading and listening to music in Basque can enjoy if this year he turns around these eight places. On this curious journey from January to December in four territories, you will find fairs and initiatives specialized in age and creativity genres, as well as for the general public. The Lazkao fair is the longest of the experiences, as the 35th edition was held last December. The week of the Basque black novel (H)ilbeltza turns 10. And the others are created since then, with the will to consolidate each year, to become a famous quote in the Basque Country. Since 2023 they have joined the Doinuele network and since the first year they have felt the most pleasurable path thanks to mutual knowledge of experiences, the exchange of information and the sum of forces.

Week of the Basque black novel. Organized by (H)ilbeltza. The X edition is celebrated this year. They have drawn up the following programme:
- January 22, at Arizkun Doctor at 19:30 hours: Conversation with writers VI. Winner of the scholarship (H)ilbeltza. Beñat Irastorza, Altxa, talks about the translation of the novel by Fred Bargas.
- January 24, at Aniz Mountain Society at 19:00: Eusebio Erkiaga: Talk by Miren Agur Meabe from Arranegi to other neighborhoods.
- January 25 at 19:00 in Berroeta's Private Company: Jon Alonso Carvalho talks about the book in the Basque Country.
- January 26, Irurita Civic Center, 19:30 hours: Mirande, draft for a documentary film with director Josu Martínez.
- January 27, at 11:00 in the Arizkunenea Culture House of Elizondo: Round table on witch hunting in the Basque Country between Amaia Nausia, Asisko Urmeneta and Juainas Paul Arzak.
- 27 January in Erratzu: 17:00 Presentation of books in the association: The Law of Revenge of Ernesto Prat, because Hiru etxe de Mikel Begoña in Santa Monica and Ura de Xabier Lasa is not always transparent. 18:30 Blatz Night Suspects by Erratzu.
- 28 January in Elizondo: At 10:30 from Erraiak etsai Square returns beautiful in Beartzun. At 19:00 in the Casa de Cultura Arizkunenea, acting by bertsolaris Nerea Ibarzabal, Alaia Martin and Saioa Alkaiza.

Book and disco fair and events. Organized by Baltsan Elkartea and ARGIA, the 5th edition will be held this year.
HERNANI FAIR 5 October
Book and disco fair and events. Organized by Dobera euskara elkartea, the 4th edition will be held this year.
SEE MIKUSI October 11 and 12 in Sara (ikusimikusi.eus)
Children and youth literature and events. Organized by Mari Gorri, Galtzagorri, Pamiela and Sara City Hall, the 4th edition will be held this year.
SORMENE October 30 in Galdakao (sormene.eus)
Literary fair. Organized by the Basque Department of the City of Galdakao, the 6th edition will be held this year.
LAZKAO AZOKA from 13 to 15 December
Book and disco fair and events. Organized by the Gerriko cultural association, the 36th edition is celebrated this year.
