The major transformations in human history have occurred with the technologies of memory elimination and transmission. Technological developments in language and its written expression have been fundamental to the development of our societies. At some point, in addition, we began to expel memory from our body, through machines, to get rid of tiring works for bodies.
Creating is the capacity that all human beings have. But its creation is not within the reach of all human beings. Creation and socialization of creation have a high cost, and in turn laws and markets have been created to maintain a creative and distributive class. However, texts, music, poetry, software, design, etc., have a free nature, nobody can control that they will not sing the song heard on the street, that they cannot repeat the design that you have seen.
Today, we are developing new forms of creation with great power of influence in our peoples, cultures and possibilities. When we cannot understand this transformation, most of us are merely observers of what is going to happen. These ways of doing are protected by the laws of creation, they are complex, we cannot inspect them, and so we cannot repeat them either. But should we wait to understand this technology that we cannot inspect? Should we stand still until we have such a protected technology in our hands? I think we need to look at the possibilities of boosting another technology that does not make us vulnerable, and for that we need another policy.
