In this palace is the Green Room, known by the naturalist paintings of the walls. Despite the current poor state of conservation, researchers Christopher Stimpson and Barry Kemp have highlighted its value, as, besides being masterpieces of ancient Egypt, thanks to realistic details, they are also instruments for the investigation of the fauna and flora of the time.
In particular, they have been dedicated to the identification of birds in the Green Room, where shepherds (Laniidae) and laundries (Motacilla alba) have been found still living in these marshes, as well as rocky pigeons typical of the desert ecosystem (Columbia livia).
