Antirazism: Let's focus on those of us who are not inclusive

It's not the same thing to be racist as to be anti-razist. This is the first lesson learned with the racist members of the union. Being anti-racist, as well as not consciously repeating racists, leads us to strive and take concrete steps against racism. It contains an active attitude towards a system of oppression based on rationalisation.

We are talking about an active attitude that each of us must build from different places, because it is not the same way as the subjects of oppression that we are privileged. Those of us in this second group have white supremacy to the veins, which are often confused and entangled within us with classism.

The training workshop led by Quinndy Akeju at the festival towards an anti-razist union organized by the LAB union in April, shook us a lot, put us in front of the mirror and made us reflect on our personal practices. There we learned the term “white fragility”: accepting that race puts us in a privileged position, many of the arguments we use to manage our contradictions, who will recognize himself as racist or racist?

"To advance anti-razism, let's not focus or focus on those who are not inclusive."

The challenge of building new correspondence is what we want to be anti-razists. The term “others” and “us” should be a conscious exercise of rejection that will completely transform and transform the imaginary “citizens of the oppressed nation and people”. Because despite being oppressed, their hooks often oppress us, and we have always been in a situation of privilege or position, a situation of privilege that has recognized us rights and given us more opportunities. We must therefore analyse our personal and collective attitudes, choices and practices and try to create other dynamics.

My affective relationship always leads me to reflect on who I've built relationships with, who is part of the network of friends, and certainly not. Because the gaps are a reflection of reality and give us an accurate diagnosis. Well, to advance in antirazism, we don't focus or attention on those of us who are not inclusive and in spaces, communities, organizations, structures, etc. not inclusive. Let us design mechanisms and instruments to create collective structures that guarantee and fight the equal rights and opportunities of all people. Bringing the issue to education, we mix and divide the indigenous whites, because we who are not inclusive are the ones who take those choices.
