Anticipating to move forward
Looking face-to-face is a clear way of expressing intentions. Looking ahead to something, to someone, is to recognize, to become aware and to respond to the existence of the couple; and so we have the young Basque people. A couple of years ago, we looked in the eye and started organizing from responsibility. From responsibility, from responsibility, from the generational perspective and also from illusion.

We are concerned. Concerned about the increase in the level of knowledge of Euskera, but we still have no conditions to live in Euskera. Concern about decreased use as age increases. Concerned, even in the most Basque spaces (such as youth movements), by the evolution they are experiencing and the polluting vices we are acquiring. Distressed, we have been organizing concerns about all the attacks we have received from the Basque (and therefore the Basques) in all this, and seeing that we have not filled the streets. Concerned as a generation, because we cannot ignore the label of not speaking in Basque and the irresponsible burden with language. Few, however, are looking at the brutal process of globalization and homogenization experienced by our generation; social networks, screens, cultural references and the educational model, their influence on our linguistic habits, and the scarce presence of the Basque Country in this fierce and brutal competition of digitalization. But it is time to put the responsibility of the future of the Basque Country behind him and to help him with material conditions; to recognize the importance of the passage to all those who have taken steps in favor of the Basque without these conditions and against the wind; to recognize the militant character of the Basque Country to all those who have chosen to live every day in Basque.
We all have to look ahead. It's not easy. If the picture before us does not change, instead of talking about the life of the Basque Country, we will continue to talk about survival, and I am clear that some prefer us in terms of continuous survival. Now we have to breathe. Because we want and because we have a right. It is time to anticipate the situation and move forward. All of us in favour of the Basque Country, let us speak in Basque, Spanish and French, represent in Basque the future of the Basque Country. The Basque people ahead!
