Let's finally change the question, the wolf.

They will forgive me, but I come to the subject of the Basque Educational System that I have talked about so many times, because I believe that we continue to address the debate incorrectly, interpreting the issue a little wrong and turning attention again and again to the periphery of the problem.

We want to create our own educational system, and, of course, I meet all the people of good will who, in one way or another, are committed to that objective, let it be clear. The fact is that we seem to want to do our oppression without looking at the structural, and then I see the problem, because it is incredible that we are not yet aware, de facto it is impossible to have a Basque national school in the conditions of our total dependence. Why insist so much on that? I don't really understand that.

It is a serious mistake to try to solve the problems that are symptoms of our general illness without looking at the general disease, or even acting as if there were no generic conditions. Unfortunately, this is not a mistake that is only seen in the field of self-education, for example in the field of the defence of the Basque Country, or in general in the responses to the repression of the Basque nation. But I think it is a good illustration of the wrong path that we Basques have chosen in the face of our problem of oppression, to what extent we are stuck in getting somewhat larger shares of sovereignty, forgetting the compass of real sovereignty. Seeing this is what gives me the most despair, which we always complain about, but always on request, contented and satisfied with only small victories.

"What can Basque educators do in the task of regaining independence and their own state?"

Yes, I know what you're going to say, why are we going to give up something that you can get. For what they want us to be told, I see nothing clear about that reason of permitting, because we will never come to a really satisfactory solution in that way, which, although we make the most effort, accumulates most of the force that is in our hands, we do what we do. Once.

Moreover, far from thinking that we can get something fundamental from there, I am very clear that we pay an expensive price to feed and increase dependence every time we do it. Let the crumbs not leave us for free, in short. Let us waste the energy we would need for the organization of the only solution that can save us as a people, divert attention from that primary and unique task, lose strength and time in solutions that are always scarce, and what is worse, than with the real cure of the disease, we dream of the puppies.

That friends, as a dominated people, have hijacked us sovereignty, control over ourselves and power! Do we have to remember that yet? They'll tell me you already know, but what they want you to say, it doesn't seem. It is disappointing to see how our thoughts and all the political headaches are formulated with the sole purpose of answering the following question: What can we do to have the rights of independent peoples (only) without being independent?

The education administered here is either Spanish or French. In the so-called Basque Public School, of course, but also in part in the Ikastolas. Because they are both managed and financed by the same administration. Yes, unfortunately that is the case.

Because ikamika doesn't take anywhere, call me when you find that we can only answer the fundamental question: What do you do to be independent? Or if they want to be more linked to education, what can we do the Basque educators in the task of regaining independence and their own state?

Put on the date and I show up.
