Following the administration of the mayor, Javier Beobide, Andoni Ortuzar had to apologize to the citizens of Lemoa in 2013. Two years later he ordered all candidates for mayor and councillor who stood in the 2015 elections not to tolerate corruption.

Three former mayors of Alonsotegi, the mayor of Iurreta and the former mayor of Güeñes are currently charged. In the “De Miguel” case, the former mayor of Zambrana and a former councilor of Leioa were convicted in 2019. In those years he was sentenced to the former mayor of Getaria and in 2018 to the former mayor of Zalla and a former councilor, as well as to the former mayor of Bakio.

"Ten former mayors and eight former councillors condemned, and today one mayor and four former mayors charged. You won't find infographic about it."

Sentenced in 2017 to three former councillors: one from Muskiz, one from Vitoria and one from Erandio. The former mayor of Errigoiti was convicted in 2012 and three former mayors (Elantxobe, Ormaiztegi and Zamudio) in 2010, as well as three former councillors of Elantxobe. In this long list there are two other mentions: Former Mayor of Mallabia (2008) and former Mayor of Galdakao (2001).

In short, ten former mayors and eight former councillors convicted, and today one mayor and four former mayors charged. You won't find infographic about it. In recent years the PNV has lost mayors in some of the villages mentioned: Lemoa (2011); Zambrana (2011); Getaria (2011); Zalla (2011 to 2019); Bakio (2015); Errigoiti (2015); Elantxobe (2011); Ormaiztegi (2007) and Galdakao (2019).

“The revolving doors of the PNV work well in the right direction,” Ortuzar said in 2015. In an old bird I commented on the data of the revolving doors used by the party with electricity or gas and oil companies, including: Josu Jon Imaz (Repsol, Gas Natural and Petronor); Jon Azu (Fenix Oil & Gas); Joseba Aurrekoetxea (Enagás, Bahía Bizkaia Gas and Bahía de Bizkaia Fotovoltatáica); Xabier Sagredo (Iberdrola); Roberto Otxdrola

But you won't find them in an infographic either.
