Three. A few years ago, Iberdrola commissioned us to replace the analogue meter with a digital one. Workers were sent home from time to time without notice. We doubted those unusual interests and issues that forced us to change the counter and that the counter in the house worked properly. So the months, and in exchange for countless messages, until the threat comes: he called us a charge from Bilbao telling us that we would be cut off from electricity if we didn't change the meter. For fear of a blackout, we gave up.

"Does anybody remember the protests for having to get the garbage out on specific days and hours? Has anyone seen them against electricity times?"

Two. We have an electric contract with a cooperative, in addition to consuming green energy, a cheaper invoice (at least so far...). Now, small cooperatives like ours are going to force their capital to increase if they're going to continue on the market. We will continue with the cooperative, we will not give in (every time we are called from Iberdrola to make offers, we reaffirm our intention to continue in the cooperative remembering that threat of blackout...).

One. Since we are forced to pay prices overnight, we have to look at the clock to turn on the appliances (instead of tying them to the needs of the home). We started to feel dizzy, and in the midst of dizziness, we started to ask questions. Why this question of timetables? In the hourly dialing system, what role do digital meters play that measure intakes for seconds? How long are we going to respect the schedules? Does anyone remember the protests for having to get the rubbish out on specific days and hours? Has anyone seen them against electricity times?

Zero, zero, zero. Threat of another blackout now, giant, global. And to break the news, what better than a defense minister? In addition, giving them guidelines that seem appropriate for a zombie invasion: having small gas fires at home, candles, flashlights and enough drinking water, dry and canned food and money... Does it count back? The adventurous and apocalyptic aspects of capitalism make announcements credible – as Eduardo Galeano said, you can never know with horror movies – but they get the first effect, the main effect, without anything happening: they are gigantic disseminators of terror (and firefighters). However, they have one good thing: they teach us firsthand how far our bondage reaches with the advances that we have invented ourselves.
